NEW for 2025/2026
Intake Form: Through the Intake Form, lead applicants can select specific AACME Funding Program(s) of interest or receive a notification about programs that may be of interest. Please note that not all applicants will meet the eligibility requirements.
Lead Applicant: The lead applicant, including those that intend to apply with a Fiscal Sponsor, must have the legal authority to represent the organization, group, or individual applying for the grant, and serve as the Authorizing Signatory for any potential agreements with the City.
Note: For Elevate and Nexus Programs, those applicants who intend to use a Fiscal Sponsor for their awarded grant must create an account profile with a lead applicant that has the authority to apply on behalf of the individual artists or arts group at the time of submission. Sponsored Project applicants may later transfer ownership of their approved grant application to their selected fiscal sponsor after their application has been awarded an Elevate or Nexus grant.
Create Austin is a program of the Long Center for the Performing Arts, operated through its Community Programs Department. It serves as a third-party administrator for six funding programs produced by the Austin Arts, Culture, Music, and Entertainment (AACME), including:
- Austin Live Music Fund
- Creative Space Assistance Program
- Nexus
- Elevate
- Thrive
- Heritage Preservation Grant
For detailed information on requirements for each grant program, visit the AACME Funding page.

If you choose to build Submittable profiles for multiple creative entities, submit one Intake Form for each.
